Morgans Valley

Morgan’s Valley was the last architectural New build I completed start to finish in New Zealand a couple of years ago before recently relocating back to Cornwall. This was an interesting timber framed house nestled into the top of the Port Hills which formed part of an ancient, extinct super volcano next to Christchurch.
The house featured many different timber finishes internally and externally including Spotted Gum flooring, Cedar features, Rimu benchtops, Oak stair treads, Siberian Larch weatherboard cladding, Garapa decking, Kwila handrails and Macrocarpa Sleepers as landscaped steps running up to the front entrance.
